Discover benefits and joy of yoga taught in the style of the Iyengar tradition. Classes and Workshops emphasizes proper alignment, and the use of props (belts and blocks) allows adults and youth with flexibility limitations to safely perform poses with the correct alignment.

Gentle – A slower paced class. Focus on exploring movement and increasing mobility.

Level 1 – For beginning students.  Alignment based postures with an emphasis on standing poses & floor stretching.

Level 2 – For students who have a consistent yoga program in their life. Focus is on standing poses, beginning inversions, back arches and twists with an emphasis on alignment.

Yogaville Studios currently offers yoga classes at 9509 SW 4th Ave. Small  home studio in Portland. YogaVille offers  a Gentle Yoga Class at The Sherwood Senior Center.

We will use yoga and movement to explore broadening the collar bones away from the breast bone and depress shoulders and shoulder blades. This two-hour  workshop will teach you asanas to develop strength in the upper back and expansion in the chest. Appropriate for students of all levels.

Learn how to use yoga to tone the deeper abdominal muscles, resulting in a stronger back and belly with improved balance and health. Appropriate for students of all levels.

Beginning Tumbling &
Youth Fitness Classes

Develop strength, agility, coordination and balance with hoops, swinging skills on a single rail bar & working with hand weights.  A noncompetitive way to build self-esteem, learn jumping skills, bar skills, handstands, cartwheels & front handsprings.
