Discover benefits and joy of yoga taught in the style of the Iyengar tradition. Classes and Workshops emphasizes proper alignment, and the use of props (belts and blocks) allows adults and youth with flexibility limitations to safely perform poses with the correct alignment.

Gentle – A slower paced class. Focus on exploring movement and increasing mobility.

Level 1 – For beginning students.  Alignment based postures with an emphasis on standing poses & floor stretching.

Level 2 – For students who have a consistent yoga program in their life. Focus is on standing poses, beginning inversions, back arches and twists with an emphasis on alignment.

Yogaville Studios currently offers yoga classes at 9509 SW 4th Ave. Small  home studio in Portland. YogaVille offers  a Gentle Yoga Class at The Sherwood Senior Center.

1pm-4pm  Strong Core  at First St. Yoga

 

We will use yoga and movement to explore toning the deeper abdominal muscles of the stomach and spine. This two-hour  workshop will teach you asanas to strengthen your posture & gain confidence moving from one pose to another. You will learn active poses to increase abdominal strength, resulting in better muscle tone, stronger back and belly muscles with improved balance and health. Appropriate for students of all levels.
